Ohio University named best online university in the state

Ohio University has been ranked as the top online university in Ohio for its wide range of affordable online options and extensive partnerships with community colleges in several states.

OnlineColleges.com noted that the OHIO is well known as a research center and is classified as a high research activity institution by the Carnegie Foundation. “The university’s online bachelor’s degree programs include a number of graduation programs, and the school is doing everything possible to make them accessible,” the site noted.

“As a wider range of students look for ways to further their education, we pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of high-quality online options to meet their needs,” said Brad Cohen, Director of Ohio University strategy and innovation. “Whether on campus, online, or a mix of the two, students at Ohio University learn from world-class faculty and gain the training and experience that sets them up for success. “

The website also noted that online students can access free writing and tutoring services, counseling and psychology services, and language support. Access to Ohio University library materials and an experience credit program were also highlighted.

Michael Sferro, an online student at Ohio University, said he was able to balance his online course load with demanding work, and credited his advisor with providing him with a sheet road to graduation in the spring of 2021.

“After 16 years, I made the decision to finish my baccalaureate. I have researched many schools, but I chose Ohio University for many reasons, but most importantly the fact that it is an established and respected university and has a strong, fully online and very affordable program, ”said Sferro. “Everyone has been very approachable and really cares about my success. I am so grateful to be a Bobcat and delighted that my dream of graduating is coming closer to reality.

Ohio University offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs online and serves more students fully online than any four-year public university in Ohio. This includes 11 online bachelor’s degrees, several online associate’s degrees, and a wide range of online master’s and doctoral degrees.
