Methodology of the survey
The survey was conducted by the Florida Virtual School at August 2021 and has been rolled out to parents of children at all grade levels, including full-time FLVS and FLVS Flex student populations. The 18-question survey included three questions on school history and 15 questions on parents’ perspective on the impact of online learning on their children and the skills they have learned. The question types included Likert assessments and single and multiple selection multiple choice. Of those invited, 3,248 parents / guardians responded to all survey questions.
