DWC Announces Free CME Credits for Online Learning Using the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule (MTUS) – American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Guidelines
NEW
The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) announces a new Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits program that allows physicians and other healthcare professionals to earn free CME credits through Point of Care Internet Learning ( IPoC).
IPoC learning is a certified CME activity in which a physician or other healthcare professional engages in self-directed online learning on topics relevant to their clinical practice by searching the California Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule (MTUS) – American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM).
Interested parties can search for a self-identified clinical question on the MTUS-ACOEM // MDGuidelines website and then submit a CME credit application through the ACOEM IPoC portal. Full instructions can be found on the ACOEM website.
Credit for previously conducted and completed research in the MTUS-ACOEM guidelines is available from January 1, 2022.
